Future and a Hope

Of late, I have been increasingly aware of Jesus and what He has done for us and continues to do for us.  Jesus’ desire is to be part of every aspect of our lives.  He will not push His way in but enquire of us asking if we will let Him in.

I get to speak to a lot of people and with that you get to hear their story—the good, the bad and the ugly.  Without fail, no matter what situation they face, the answer to the issue at hand comes back to allowing Jesus into the problem.

Matt 7:7&8 says…Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

He can always be found.  All we have to do is ask, seek and knock.  Sounds pretty easy doesn’t it?  Why is it then that we struggle so much to let our Heavenly Father into those areas that only He can take care of?

Let me encourage you to place yourself in the hands of the Potter and allow Him to mould, shape and fashion you.  Open the closed doors in your life to Him.  He has only good thoughts about you.  Where else would you rather be?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jer 29:11).

Our future and hope is found in Jesus.
